Current Undergraduate Students

Yanika Weatherspoon:  Ms. Yanika Weatherspoon is currently a junior at Michigan State University majoring in Food Industry Management.  She is actively involved in Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences as well as the Food Marketing  Association. Upon graduation,  she plans to attend graduate school.

Past Undergraduate Students

Marie Steele: Ms. Marie Steele is currently a senior at University of Maryland Baltimore County double majoring in Mathematics and Financial Economics. She was a participant in the 2011 MSU Summer Research Opportunities Program with the Food SCENE group focusing on urban food deserts.Upon graduation, she plans to attend graduate school for a PhD in Agricultural Economics.

Krystal R. Blakemore:  Ms. Krystal R. Blakemore is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University where she majored in agriculture, with a concentration economics and a minor in mathematics. She was a participant in the 2010 MSU Summer Research Opportunities Program with the Food SCENE group focusing on urban food deserts. Krystal plans to continue her education and receive a masters degree in Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics.

Stevon Mosley:  Mr. Stevon Mosely is a native of Detroit, MI and is a graduate of Michigan State University where he majored in Food Industry Management.  He was a participant in the 2010 MSU Summer Research Opportunities Program with the Food SCENE group focusing on urban food deserts.
